Self Review

Year 12 Self Review
I have been, and am involved in many activities suitable for CAS. For CREATIVITY, I have just signed up for helping with costumes for the Senior Production. For ACTION, last year I was in the basketball team, and this year I think I will be doing the silver international award as well as joining the basketball team again. I have always been very involved in SERVICE as I have been on the Koh Phi Phi project in year 10 and I am going again this year. I have been to the fountain of life twice, which is a centre helping children who’s parents aren’t looking after them properly. At the moment I am in the Croston House walk committee as well as the Round Square 2010 conference steering committee. I will also be helping out at the Pattaya Players Halloween event in October. I must admit that I have never really done a lot of creative activities as well as many action related activities, but I am very keen to get involved this year.

Reflection
How has your opinion of your activity choices changed since your experiences on Koh Chang?

What changes would you make to your planning of activities?

How realistic were your goals?
Since my experiences on I have become a more balanced individual because now I get more involved in many different aspects, Particulary activities that involve creativity, action, and service. I don’t just choose these activities because I have to. By participating in them more and more often I have grown to really enjoy and appreciate them.

The changes I would make to my planning of activities would be; making sure I have available time, Not schedule too many activities at once, make sure it doesn’t put to much strain on my academics, and not to get over-involved.

I managed to reach most of my goals so I would say they were realistic. However, I feel that I may have wanted to reach too many goals and therefore, next time I should focus on only a few, and with more intensity.
